- OVERVIEW
These general terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Ketter Retreats AB, company registration number 559539-8248 (“Ketter”), and any person (“Participant”) attending an event or activity arranged by Ketter (“Event”). Ketter and the Participant are jointly referred to as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party.” These terms apply to all Event registrations. - SCOPE OF APPLICATION
2.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and Ketter concerning the Participant’s involvement in the Event, as well as all related dealings between the Parties. Additional terms specific to a given Event may be provided upon registration, and such terms shall form an integral part of the agreement between the Parties.
2.2 By accepting these Terms, the Participant confirms that they have read and understood the contents.
2.3 In case of any inconsistency between the Terms and any specific additional terms presented at registration, the following order of precedence shall apply:
1. Specific terms
2. These general Terms - EVENT CONTENT AND STRUCTURE
3.1 Information regarding the Event’s content is published on Ketter’s website and in the informational materials provided upon registration. Ketter reserves the right to make adjustments to the program content or staffing after registration without this being considered a breach of agreement or entitling the Participant to a refund. However, Ketter will notify the Participant of any change in facilitator or material alterations to the Event content as soon as possible. Ketter is not entitled to make major structural changes (e.g., changes in duration or removal of core components) unless in accordance with the force majeure clause in Section 7.2.
3.2 The Participant is solely responsible for arranging and covering the costs of travel to and from the airport or trainstation. This includes ensuring that they meet any requirements for travel. Ketter is not liable for any costs or missed program components resulting from delayed or canceled travel arrangements. Participants are encouraged to plan for generous time margins.
3.3 For Events including overnight stays, Ketter does not guarantee private rooms unless explicitly stated in the pre-registration information. However, Ketter will strive to accommodate preferences regarding sleeping arrangements when reasonably possible.
3.4 Ketter will endeavor to accommodate food allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences within reason. It is the Participant’s responsibility to inform Ketter at the time of registration. If the Participant requires a special diet that is difficult to fulfill, they are responsible for arranging their own meals without entitlement to any fee reduction. - PRICES AND PAYMENT
4.1 Ketter reserves the right to update prices at any time. Prices displayed online or in marketing materials may differ from the final price at the time of registration. Once the Participant has registered, the quoted price is binding.
4.2 In case of late payment, Ketter is entitled to charge interest and administrative fees in accordance with applicable law. If payment is not made within 14 days after a written reminder, Ketter reserves the right to cancel the Participant’s place and claim the remaining balance.
4.3 The Participant agrees that payment may be handled through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe) and acknowledges that such services may require acceptance of separate terms and conditions.
4.4 In case of refunds, Ketter reserves the right to deduct reasonable administrative costs associated with the refund process. - CANCELLATIONS AND REMOVAL
5.1 Ketter reserves the right to cancel an Event entirely at any time before it begins. In such cases, Ketter will inform the Participant without delay and either refund the participation fee or offer an equivalent alternative Event, subject to the Participant’s consent. Suppose the Participant has incurred non-refundable travel costs prior to notification of cancellation. In that case, Ketter may reimburse such costs upon presentation of documentation, unless cancellation was due to force majeure (see Section 7.2).
5.2 Ketter reserves the right to remove or exclude a Participant from an Event without refund if they violate behavioral rules, including intoxication, harassment, or other inappropriate conduct.
5.3 The Participant may withdraw from the Event at any time before or during the program, but is not entitled to any refund or cancellation of outstanding fees unless otherwise specified in Section 5.4.
5.4 In cases of serious illness, accident, or death of the Participant or a close relative that significantly prevents participation, Ketter may refund 50% of the Event fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Participant must:
a) Notify Ketter immediately via the designated contact or by email at info@ketter.se
b) Provide written confirmation from their insurance company that no coverage applies
c) Present medical documentation supporting the claim. - COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS
6.1 Participants may file a complaint in the event of substantial deviation from the Event description provided during registration. Verified deviations may entitle the Participant to compensation such as partial refunds or credits.
6.2 Complaints should be submitted to Ketter via email (info@ketter.se) as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after discovering the issue.
6.3 Ketter strives to address complaints within 30 days of receipt. - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND FORCE MAJEURE
7.1 While Ketter aims to provide a high-quality experience, no express or implied guarantees are made regarding the content, outcomes, or any materials presented during the Event or via its website.
7.2 Ketter shall not be liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics, transportation disruption, strikes, terror attacks, or serious illness among staff (force majeure). Notice will be given without delay.
7.3 As stated in the Declaration, the Participant waives any legal claims against Ketter (e.g., for harm or loss) except for rights explicitly outlined in these Terms. If liability is nevertheless established under mandatory law, Ketter’s total liability shall not exceed the fee paid by the Participant for the Event. - COMMUNICATION
8.1 All communication will be directed to the email address or phone number provided by the Participant at registration.
8.2 The Participant is responsible for promptly updating Ketter regarding any changes in contact information. - CONSUMER RIGHTS

The Participant expressly agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of Swedish courts.
