Program Structure & Schedule
The retreat programs are designed with comprehensive preparation and aftercare to ensure a supportive experience. Our commitment is to guide you every step of the way.

Clarity, insight & lasting change
Our legal and safe retreats are more than a psychedelic experience. They are a guided journey of discovery with thoughtful preparation, transformative days, and skilled integration to help your insights take root.
In the tranquil beauty of the Dutch countryside, and in small groups, we create a structured space where you are gently supported by an experienced team of licensed mental health professionals and facilitators, allowing meaningful breakthroughs and lasting growth to unfold.
A program for inner exploration
We deeply trust in the potential of psilocybin and have witnessed many participants experience profound and transformative shifts. While we offer no guarantees, the journey can open meaningful opportunities for reflection, clarity, and personal renewal, and it requires genuine personal commitment as the process may at times be emotionally demanding.
At the same time, our retreats are not designed to treat severe mental illness or to serve as medical or therapeutic treatment. Having a psychiatric diagnosis or taking medication does not necessarily exclude you from participating, but it must be carefully considered before confirming admission.

Environment & mindset
The environment you are in, and the mindset you bring, shape every aspect of a psychedelic journey. That’s why we focus just as much on preparation and context as on the experience itself. At our retreats, participants are supported in cultivating a calm and open inner state, while the group becomes a shared space of trust and connection. Together, these elements form a foundation where meaningful and lasting change can take root.
Psilocybin can loosen rigid patterns of thought and open pathways to new perspectives. In the right setting, it allows deeper layers of the mind to surface, inviting personal insights and emotional clarity.
The retreat location is chosen with care, designed to provide a sense of safety and presence. Music is a central part of the process, used intentionally to reflect and support the energy in the room.
Participant assessment
Before a place in the program can be confirmed, you will take part in a participant assessment to ensure there are no medical or psychological risks related to your participation. This step helps identify any potential concerns and ensures the program is suitable for you before you travel.
Our team of facilitators includes licensed psychotherapists and psychologists. We can consult with licensed psychiatrists (MDs) when needed.

Individual conversation with a facilitator
Together we will review your completed health form and assess whether participation is suitable based on your current situation, previous experiences, and intentions.
This session is also an opportunity to express any concerns or special needs you may have ahead of the program.
Preparation phase
Before the trip to the Netherlands, we will hold two group meetings on Zoom with the entire group. This will give you the chance to meet all team members who will be present at the retreat, as well as the other participants. The aim is to foster a sense of safety, answer practical questions, and begin working with your intention.
We will introduce basic techniques for pausing and turning inward. We place great importance on preparation to ensure your experience is as safe and meaningful as possible.

Retreat in the Netherlands
The retreat will take place in a beautiful setting, surrounded by forest and close to the sea. During our time there, we will hold two psilocybin sessions, and in between allow time for rest and integration.
There will be opportunities for individual conversations with facilitators, social time with other participants, as well as silence and self-reflection. Full board will be provided, prepared by our chef. Single rooms are available for all participants.
Integration phase
One week after the retreat, we will meet for a shared integration session online. There you will have the chance to reflect on your experience together with the group. Meeting the facilitators and participants again can be a valuable aid in understanding and integrating your experience into your everyday life.
We will also hold a final group session 1–2 weeks later, offering a natural conclusion and space for continued growth. If you desire, you are welcome to book additional private integration sessions with a facilitator from the Ketter team. See more information below.

The retreat venue
Our retreat takes place at a beautiful location about 45 minutes north of Amsterdam. Surrounded by peaceful nature, the setting invites reflection and walks outdoors.
The venue is a culturally authentic 19th-century Dutch abbey, carefully preserved to retain its historical character while providing a comfortable and welcoming environment. Each participant has a private room, and there are spacious common areas to relax, write, or unwind.

Price and payment
The cost of the retreat program is 3,800 euros. For many self-employed individuals, this expense may be tax-deductible as an educational cost.
Upon registration, a registration fee of 300 euros is paid. Once the fee is paid, your screening process begins. If we subsequently determine that participation is not suitable, for example, due to safety or health considerations, the amount will be refunded in full. The remaining program fee will only be invoiced after you have been approved for participation.
The price includes the full retreat program and comfortable shuttle service to and from the airport. Please note that travel to and from the Netherlands is not included.
Additional preparation & integration sessions
Your retreat program already includes a personal conversation with a facilitator, along with scheduled online group sessions before and after the retreat.
If you would like extra one-on-one time for deeper preparation or integration, we’re happy to offer additional sessions at a rate of 140 euros per hour.
Simply let us know, and we’ll arrange a time that works for you.
